Student dormitories (called
halls in RUET) are important features in campus life. There are six residential halls to provide housing for RUET students. Among them the
Ladies D MST Hall
is for women, and the remaining five halls are for men studying in the undergraduate level. Administrative head of a hall is it
s provost, usually chosen from the more senior
teachers of different faculties. The halls are mostly named after national heroes and leaders. These are listed below:
- Shahid Lt. Selim Hall
- Shahid Abdul Hamid Hall
- Shahid Sahidul Islam Hall
- Ladies Hall
- Tin Shade Hall
- Shahid President Ziaur Rahman Hall
